Adam Mawer is an agricultural and property owners Technical Underwriting Manager at iFarm Underwriting, responsible for developing new and existing broker relationships across the farm and property owners accounts.

He joined iFarm in November 2019, having previously spent 3 years with Aon as a broker, 8 years with NFU Mutual as a principal account underwriter and development underwriter, and 18 months with Zurich working on new propositions and existing MGA accounts.

Outside of work, Adam collects street art and vinyl records, is a Bristol City FC season ticket holder, and in the summer plays cricket for his local team, Bedminster CC. 

Andrew Atkinson is a motor underwriter at iFarm Underwriting responsible for new business, MTAs, referrals and renewals.

He joined iFarm in April 2019, having worked in the farm motor industry for a number of years, first with BIB and then Rural Insurance.

Outside of work Andrew’s hobbies include watching as much sport as possible, including local football team Northallerton Town.

Carys Evans is a business development underwriter for iFarm Underwriting, responsible for looking after a panel of brokers and ensuring they receive the best service.

She joined iFarm in November 2018, having previously worked for iSure. Prior to this she worked at a broker in Wales and NFU Mutual.

Outside of work Carys likes to keep fit by running or anything outdoorsy. She is hoping to soon complete the 3 peaks challenge.

Danielle Kilpatrick is an agricultural motor underwriter at iFarm.

She joined iFarm in March 2020, having previously worked for BiB Insurance Group.

Outside of work, Danielle reads a lot, and likes to run and strength train. She used to do kettlebell sport until she had to have an operation in 2019 and hasn’t been able to return due to the pandemic.

Joining iFarm as an Underwriting Assistant, Demi Stephenson’s day-to-day comprises liaising with brokers, completing administrative tasks and buying and inviting renewals. 

Prior to joining the Aventum family, Demi worked as a hairdresser for four years, before moving to Post Office home insurance. This is where they found their passion for working in the insurance sector. 

Away from work, Demi enjoys travelling to new countries and exploring new cities.

Holly Daniels is a motor underwriter at iFarm Underwriting, responsible for new business enquiries, existing business and motor renewals.

She joined iFarm in April 2020. Prior to this, she worked in the agricultural industry for both Rural and BIB.

Outside of work, Holly has a young son called Jacob, and most of her time is spent entertaining him.

As a Farm Team Leader, Jade leads the iFarm Property Team, developing clear SLAs and managing workflow to ensure service standards are achieved and regulatory and compliance standards are maintained across iFarm.

Before joining the Aventum family, Jade worked at AXA for eight years before moving to Rural and later Hamilton Bond where they worked as a Business Development Manager, taking a secondment as a Third Party Engagement Business Partner within the MArsh Commercial group.

Away from work, Jade spends most free time with her children, going to the park and arranging pamper days. Jade also works with her dogs to compete in dog shows.

Jenny Peace is a farm underwriter at iFarm Underwriting, responsible for processing and underwriting the farm scheme within the delegated agreed authority provided by insurers, while assisting broker partners with quotations, mid-term adjustments, renewals and technical queries.

She joined iFarm in November 2020, having worked in the insurance industry for just over 20 years, in both personal and commercial lines. For the last 10 years, she has worked within the agricultural insurance sector.

Outside of work, Jenny has two young children that keep her very busy. When she does get any spare time, she enjoys long costal walks and catching up with friends and family.

Joanne Partridge is a senior farm underwriter at iFarm Underwriting, responsible for renewals, MTAs and new business enquiries.

She joined iFarm in February 2021, having previously been an account handler at Lycetts, and before that a farm underwriter at BIBU.

Outside of work, Joanne is a keen walker, and is studying for a degree in Environmental Science with the Open University.

Julie Thompson is the operational underwriting manager at iFarm, responsible for the underwriting decisions of the motor team.

She joined iFarm in May 2019, having previously worked in insurance for 33 years, starting at broker in Germany for British Army motor/household/kit insurance. Since 2006 she has written agricultural insurance.

Outside of work bootcamp and running are Julie’s hobbies. She also chatted to Barry Gibb once on the Isle of Wight ferry, as he was on his way to perform at the 2017 festival.

Kelly Shutt is a Head of Proposition and Distribution at iFarm Underwriting.

She joined iFarm in March 2018 as a development underwriter and moved into her current role in May 2020, having previously worked in agriculture for 11 years. She was a new business underwriter at BIBU before moving to Rural as a development underwriter in 2016.

Outside of work, life is hectic for Kelly, as a mum of two young boys and one very needy Labrador!

Laura Wakeford is a farm underwriter at iFarm Underwriting, responsible for renewals, MTAs and quotes.

She joined iFarm in January 2021, having previously spent over 21 years at BIBU Underwriters.

Outside of work Laura is a mum, and enjoys going to the gym and having days out with her family.

Lizzie Jones is a Senior Motor Underwriter at iFarm Underwriting, responsible for new business enquiries, existing business and motor renewals.

She joined iFarm in 2019, having spent the previous six years at agricultural insurance agency BIBU.

Outside of work, Lizzie enjoys arts & crafts, and cooking.

Mark Hughes is a Business Development Manager, responsible for growing and servicing the business motor account.

He joined iFarm in November 2017, having worked in insurance since 1998 in various roles at companies including Direct Line, Aviva, Towergate and Rural Insurance.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys family time, football and boxing. He was also once an extra in the TV soap Brookside.

Stacey Dunster is an underwriter at iFarm Underwriting, responsible for underwriting and dealing with account queries on that come into the farm and motor teams.

She joined iFarm in August 2016, and before this spent over four years working in medical risk assessment.

An interesting fact about Stacey is that she was once in a TV show called El Dorado – repeatedly voted the worst TV show ever made!
